The internet has been a boon for students and teachers of many schools in the district.

Bhim Bahadur Oli, headmaster of the Himalaya Higher Secondary School, said teachers spend hours on the internet to get updated on related subjects matter and solve problem raised by students. “Both teachers and students get help from the internet,” he said.

Three dozen schools in the district have provided internet access to teachers and students and are running computer classes. Bhupendra Pun, head teacher at

the Tribeni Higher Secondary School, said the internet is the best tool to motivate students. District Education Officer Harihar Dhital said access to the internet has made academic activities more effective and qualitative.
